Chloe Yap Yu Xuan 叶昱萱 birth story

10July2012 6.19am Chloe come into this world...

9July2012
10.30am- after pass motion got bloody show..  was MSN June n pris peh..
All the way til evening 5plus.. saw another round of show..
Mild contraction whole day... inform seng..  ask him standby..
Start to time contraction at 7pm onward....is like abt 20min interval..  ask hb faster feed n settle the boys..  suspect tonite need check in le..wanna make sure the boys sleep first before we go..
Bring them back by 8.30pm.. quickly bath n change myself... put them to bed by 9.15pm... lucky they tired.. slp by 10pm..
Went back my room sit on bed watch TV n time my contraction.. start to hit 15min interval le.. was chatting with cheryl..  decided to SMS woody..  ask if I can wait til 8-5min interval...
Surprise tat woody call back.. ask me go admitted immediately.. if wait til 8-5min interval... scare I will deliver at home...
So we call mil to come over... while I do last min packing etc.. give my two darling kiss... n left home at 11.30pm...
Reach tmc 12.05am.. went in ask nurse where to go etc..
Went delivery suit.. ask many ques and given gown to change.. n clear my bowel.. strip me on ctg machine..  no much contraction.. I start to regret come in so early.. then push me to delivery suit rm5..  long wait there.. from abt 1am+.. we wait n wait. Got the drip n antibiotics fix on me.. did a ve check.. only 5-6cm.. tats bad.. mean I still got long way to go... shit..
by 3pm plus... I start playing with the laughing gas... just in case I reali need it soon.. the contraction still come at 7min interval but each time it hit Max was painful le.. I try using the gas at a rate of 5breathing gas.. 5breath without... do the count to distract myself..
N at tat time we still can heard next door gyne trying to count n ask patient to push etc.. she pushed almost an hr... 
By 4.30am.. pain got worst le.. I starts to bang the bed handle.. wana hold seng... told nurse I feel bit pushin.. nurse do another ve check... only 7-8cm... bb head still high... ask me try push her down abit... unsuccessful..  sad..

After each ve check.. pain got worst... by 5.30am.. I feel like crying le... real pain n it's killing me... seng start get kan cheong too.. stand beside me.. keep telling me breath gas.. slowly... in out... relax etc... I was holding his hand tight...

Abt 5.50am.. I tell him I wanna push le.. tat idiot nurse still ya ya relax walk in.. do ve again.. tell me not yet.. at tat moment I give a push.. N she feel bbs down le.. she start asking others faster call woody.. while other nurse come help.. lower my bed.. hold down my leg.. stop me from pushing...

The waiting for woody stage was the worst... I keep breathing the gas.. nonstop.. hear seng beside me... non stop ask me relax.. I know I hold his hand tight n put by my face... heng I nvr bite.....

Woody reach here within 15min.. get change.. set my legs up.. once ready..  I start pushing.. one hard push bb out le.. I can feel him pull her out.. then place bb on my tummy.. I was really too tired to c my bb.. follow by the pain of pushing the placenta out.. n those stitches... I still haven let go the laughing gas...

My last two delivery was much easier ba... plus the pain after bb open was quite OK.. but this one different ... was much more painful...

But after woody done.. nurse clean bbs..I still try latch bb..  no doubt I feel weak pain n shivering... tats my first present to give her...

I was push to rm 630 bed B... a two bedded..

Gynea visit @ wk31 19May2012

My appt sld be 1 june 2012. But i felt bb not moving enough for the pass two days n since we were at compasspoint, so I tell seng I wana go do a scan. See the gyne to ensure bb is fine. Reach clinic at 10.30am. but they only start giving out Q# at 11.30am. was still wondering sld we wait. Seng say we jus shop ard, go foodcourt eat then can jus pop by take Q# le.

 

Went get a hairdryer then have my bf cum lunch at foodcourt. By the 11.25am. so Shawn n I went to the clinic n wait while seng bring roy back to mil. Got 103 which was the third.

 

I brought shawn to get some bread n a drink. Sat at the bus interchange to let him eat. He was asking me y I didn’t bring him to take a double decker bus. N keep asking me how ppl go to the second lvl of the bus. (SwanKu shawn..hahah!!!) He forgot I did bring him n roy to take a doubledeck bus long ago. Thk we sld bring him for a ride one of these days.

 

Went back to clinic to wait at 12.15pm. Woody come in at 12.25pm. He start off soon after but seng not back yet. I quickly tell him to rush over. It was our turn soon. Shawn was very excited to c bb. N while I was doing my scan. Shawn guai guai de stand behind the curtain to wait. Luckly seng pop in intime.

 

Woody comment bb heartbeat all doing fine. ask me dun worry if bb got min 10 move daily. He wana give me MC to rest but I rejected. (Going out audit next wk. No time for MC) @31wk old bb is not 1609g. Will go back to see him again in two wks time. When I will hit 33wks le. (so excited!! its getting nearer…)

 

I thk shawn rmb. he rmb how sad I was the last time when I lost my last bb.. when I left this clinic cryin in the car etc.. cos he ask me hows bb. I was tell him everythings ok. He ask me y need to scan. I tell him to know hows bb doing in me. Then he comment is it scare bb die. or scare bb sick inside. He is reali very sweet lil boy. I tell him shhhhh!!! dun say le. then he jus keep quiet..

 

Was quite glad my two boys are looking forward to bb arrival. They will kiss my tummy and face my tummy n sing for bb. Esp roy. He started the singing for bb while shawn will follow.

 

Recently shawn keep asking me, How is bb going to come out from my tummy? I tell him I push bb out lo. then he ask how I push??? errrrrr….. I duno how to ans him. hahaha

 

To baby: we are all so excited to see you soon. hope you will grow well and born to b a healthy lil one to us. We love you.

Shawn 4th bday celebrated in school

12 March 2012.. Detail scan at TMC / Shawn bday bash at school

Sent the kids to sch as usual then we head to shunfu to eat bf. then went straight to TMC. Reach at abt 10.30am. registered and waited til 11.30 then come my turn.

Hubby was allowed to join me in the room this time. She show us the bb pictures.. explain to us how to read the scan.. everything looks fine.. n ofcos.. she confirm the bb gender. As per woody had told us his 90% suggest. He got it rite..

BB was very coorperative. We complete the scan within 20mins.

After tat we went AMKhub for lunch at the foodcourt. n then do some shopping at NTUC..

went home to collect shawn goodies bag then head to compasspoint to collect his bday cake.. reach shawn sch at 3.40pm..

he jus woke up.. still in blur state.. waited a while b4 the party starts.. when we sang the bday song.. shawn was dreaming.. staring blank at the cake.. haha.. we were all laughin at him..

I promise to bring him back after the party.. but teacher told me he got Chinese speech n drama class after.. so I got to insist he stay on.. his lesson end at 5.15pm.. but I stand outside the sch at 5.05 to wait for him le.. jus wan to ensure him.. I keep my promise to b back rite after his lesson.. teacher told me he was unhappy n refuse to sing with them..

ask mil not to cook dinner… we went to courts tampines to had our dinner n let the kids play at the mini playground.. they both had lots of fun there..

2Feb2012 - gynea visit

Decide to skip work.. hee.. and go see gynea for my check up and get MC.. target two day MC.. keee..

Seng oso go on leave to accompany me. (Isnt he nice.. ) We went amk to do his blood test first then move on to Shunfu to had our breakfast. Reach Compasspoint at 11.30am. Still early but when i got to the clinic, they had start to issue Q #. my #106. Was told to come back by 12.30pm

We went to shop shop and have a drink at ya kun then went back to sat at the bus intercharge to wait for our #. By 12.45 was my turn le.

Went in and told doctor i m tired and i wan mc. Told him i cant sleep at nite. He reply:" Then how.. look at ceiling ah??" (so cold joke rite)... was given two day MC..

My Oscar scan result was all fine. Blood test oso ok. Had the scan. BB doing fine in me.. was told cant see anything inbetween the legs. Scan pic was clear nothing there.. (Heeee..) but woody said will confirm in next visit and refuse to mention the word GIRL.. chey.. which make us felt..nothing leh.. no doubt we know wat he mean.. yet dun feel happy or excited since we nvr heard him say tat word.. but fine.. learn from yiping experience.. i m not goin to put so high hope .. in case next visit it turn out to something pop out there.. jus cross our finger n hope ba..

Next visit is on 2Mar.. tats very soon.. count down to the day of surprise !!!
