Having long long hoilday.. n is time to go back to work tml.. kind of miss my 'tai tai' days.. hehe... but i tell myself.. must work harder to bring the best to my darling shawn..

this wk(20-28 dec) hubby oso clear his leave and we had our whole wk together day n nite... spend days..shopping for shawn cny clothing.. and we got it at parkway parade..  we went fishing few times.. spend almost every afternoon going shopping with shawn.. marina sq, parkway, sembawang shopping centre...etc.. he now know wat is kai kai .. will wave bye bye to nie nie when we go out..

Long holiday over

I was on leave for 3wks.. to clear my remaining maternity leave.. n its over le.. left with a wk leave.. which i shall take on the christmas wk..

tml i need to get back to work le.. feel so tiring after the chalet.. which hubby book for me ..to relax.. but somehow i jus dont feel relax at all.. more tiring ... so we decided to return home on sat nite instead..

Shawn first chalet at downtown east..Blk L room 2108.. he was so excited tat i skip all the afternn naps... tat make him so tiring on sat nite oso..

N We LOST shawn little pillow.. i was so upset over there... found out on sat.. i went thro the route which we went ard the resort.. jus hope to find it.. n yet..still cant find it... sat nite while shawn was sleep at home.. he woke up at 1plusam... cry so badly.. i think he is look for the pillow...so daddy n i decide to go back downtown east again.. we ask at the help desk.. see whether any nice person bring it to them... daddy even look at the bin everywhere ..tot ppl might throw it there.. i ask the cleaner aunty.. but.. still cant find.. i felt so bad.. i lost my son favourite pillow.. lousy mummy.. hope he will get use to other pillow soon..

went to my cousin bb ger 1st mth.. was surprise to see one of my cousin bb..she was 3 mth old le.. but..she wasn born with genes problem.. need help to drink milk.. n doc say the bb will b slow in learnin etc etc.. her first baby was all fine.. but y second bb can b like tat.. i start to think..sld i really go for sec bb... i m scare..

shawn sleeping now.. will he wake up to cry??? hope not,,,

This is the second time he caught with virus inflection.. wonder where the virus come from.. PD say.. mayb we adult bring it back from outside n pass to him.. Hai.. Must b i m too careless.. didn clean his toy properly ba..

2dec08 - Weather was so hot.. MIL told me.. shawn body feel hot.. i tot weather so hot.. tat must b y he oso feeling hot ba.. so i told mil..dun worry.. must b the weather..in the evening.. MIL again tell me.. something is wrong.. Shawn has running nose.. n he is not sweating.. no tat usual.. sweaty smell.. i measure his temperature.. is at 37.8... so i give him a parcentamol syrup.. thinkg syrup not so strong.. wonder b better to start with tat first.. at around 12midnite.. i measure him again.. 38.2 le.. quickly give him another dose.. he didn sleep well tat nite.. so do hubby n i.. got to keep sponge him... make sure his temperature dun shot up..

3dec08 - we decided to bring him to see Dr Lillian Lim.. (despite the tot of mayb is teething).. we just want to make sure he will recover fast.. lucky we bring him to doc.. is another round of vrius inflection.. (1.5mth after the last inflection) ... doc say..any fever above 38 degree is definitely not teething le.. shawn got throat inflammation.. running nose.. fever medicine..

Let him took his first dose at 10am.. he refuse to eat cereal.. jus give him some milk then let him take his nap le.. afternoon.. he was bit fussy... lucky i m on leave.. i latch him on to smooth en him.. tats the wonder of latching... he can calm down immediately...

by evening time.. he is almost ok le.. but we still give him another round of medicine.. hoping the fever dun come back again..

he is back to himself le..cruising ard the cot.. talk in his own baby language... even can scold my pepper.. haha.. (cos pepper bark at stranger outside.. n tat frighten him.. n he cried.. when we put him down at the cot.. he can look at pepper n di di ta ta de.. like scolding him.. )

Today.. everything is back to normal le.. he taken him morning cereal.. bath.. taking nap now.. hope fever dun come back any more...

Latest Update... After so long

I notice i haven been updating my blog for so long le...

I on long long leave now.. preparing for my exam.. (YA YA.. i know i should b revising now... jus let me take a break)... will b back to work on 15dec... n go on leave again on 22dec for a week.. jus to clear off my 3rd mth of maternity leave...

first time i bring shawn out for a walk at compasspoint on 23Nov2008... took the LRT there... after he finish his porridge at home.. shop there n wait for daddy to come n meet us..

29Nov2008 - a busy day for us.. woke up early in the morning.. prepare cereal for shawn.. bath him.. then let him sleep for a while.. then i cook his porridge..

he woke up at 11.15am.. play a while.. then give him his porridge.. he ate almost a bowl of porridge... dun wan to give him anymore.. was scare tat he got stomache if over feed...

bring him to occ to check in ... i book a room to celebrate my brother's gf..yeen teen birthday.. its her 21st bday.. then after check in.. we got to rush down to ashton 1st bday bash..(refer to my photo album.. :) everything was ok..except..ashton was a bit tired and wasnt enjoying himself..

I start to discuss with hubby how we are going to celebrate shawn's 1st bday... we got some idea in mind le... (But its a secret!! ho ho ho) .. hubby oso agreed to my suggestion.. so we plan to down by tat place one of these days to take a look... i must start sourcing for his party deco le.. YEaH!! i m so excited...

After that.. we got to go back my place to pick up my mum.. n went to buy some stuffs for steamboat... (YES!! we had steamboat inside the OCC resort.. Opos!!) reach occ at 6.30pm.. prepare the steamboat.. then Hubby, mother, Shawn n i went to the restaurant to had our dinner.. jus to use up the vouchers given.. dinner was yuckee!! hubby swear n curse.. hahah..

30Nov2008 - went to meet sharon to collect some of my samples she helps me to bring back from Shanghai.. she is very helpful.. wat a wonder fren i have.. then... went back home to get hubby stuff.. he wants to go occ to swim...

reach occ at 10.30.. he swim til 11.30.. then we check out of the room.. 1 nite stay cost me $265+.. including 3dinner n 3 breakfast.. i thk quite worth la.. cos every one enjoy it.. all the laughter make it worthwhile...

went yishun centre for lunch.. then send them back yishun ..n go back home to rest.. ya.. hubby rest.. while i look after shawn...

Bring shawn back to yishun at 5pm.. mum cook porridge for him.. n he loves it.. while i sort out the sample n my stock.. i bought some shoe charms.. n hp casing.. all of us have a laughin time ..tryin to sort out the charms.. n select their piece for their casing.. very interesting casing.. will b bring in to sell soon...

we spend one whole day (16nov2008) at the Expo Crocs warehse sale..

Was so crowded..everyone was crazy there.. (m too!!!keke) If without dear..i sure got nothing.. he will ask me which i like.. n go rite into the crowded to get for me.. n ask me to stand one side to wait..

went with Ah di n his gf yeen teen.. we got all sorts of shoe n size.. then sit at one place to chose.. lots of ppl crowd ard us ..some even try to take our shoes..

We are reali mad le.. Q for 30min to go into the hall.. n 3hr q to pay... OMG!!!

@ Achnorvale Swimming pool on 15Nov2008

Decided to bring shawn to the pool again after so long since last swim.. We woke up early in the mornin at 7am.. shawn disturb daddy..n woke him up.. so i suggest we go to the pool.. n surprisingly..dear agreed..

reach at 9am.. carpark almost full le.. heng we got a lot n went in ..quite crowded by then le...

N shawn didnt cry this time.. n he enjoy it le..even when the water was so cold...

1st week in the new ofc

I survive for the 1^st wk alone at the new office. Boss was busy over handing over the old office to the management, hence was always out of ofc. N Shiling was on study leave for 2 wks. I was mostly alone in the new ‘big’ ofc. Big enough to place at least 3 more majong table. (Hahaha!! Tats wat my boss suggested)

 

Travel so far was a concern for me. I still can ride to work now, but wat if I got preg n cant ride le. Then I got to take the NE MRT to Chinatown n change bus 147 to new ofc. Abt 1hr journey. Can I take it?

I am planning for 2^nd child mayb in yr 2010. N I will start trying in May09. Will hope to have a mar baby again in 2010 J. Current government rule require a staff to be in the company for at least 90days before she is entitle to the maternity benefit. So if I really want to change job, I must b at the new job by mar09. Should I change???

I have very good bosses. Very understanding and supportive over my pregnancy, breastfeed etc. Not calculative over time off or even leave taking. Very generous over increment.( hehe!!) .. if only my boss have the intention to expend.. then tat will be good to stay on.

Hope I can clear my acca soon. Then at least I got better choice out there. Just got to wait n see. Anyway, time is bad now n worst is coming. Sometime nothing everything is under our control. At least I m happy here. J

Having been updating abt shawn growth. What a bad mummy I m…

-         start on teethin biscuit on 30/10/08. He loves it. But I still find it dangerous for him. Worry he will choke.

-         Daily intake : 1 cereal , 2 porridge, 2 x (100 to 140)ml bottle feed BM & Latching on for all his nite feeding.

-         2 nap per day (late morning + mid afternoon)

-         dun like lying down. Can grab on our hand to sit up or stand up.

-         Loves to jump jump jump.

-         Like to mumble …especially when latch on.. jus like singing..

-         Can ‘ran’ ard in his walker. From room to room.. even open our drawer to explore

-         Got two little tooth pop out.. so cute when he out his mouth..

-         Can flip n roll all direction ah.. from one end of the bed to the other.. so scare he fall off the bed..

-         First visit to Dr Khoo on 22 Oct 2008 due to Fever & flu. Virus infection. Lucky he recover the next day le..

My little one have grow so fast.. Last visit to Dr Khoo, his weight was abt 9kg le. According to PD, he sld hit 10kg by 1YO. Hope he can achieve tat.

 

To Shawn: Daddy & Mummy love you so much. We might have miss some part of ur growth. But we are glad to know that you r under good care of your grandma. We will spend all our spare time on you. Hope to miss as little as possible. Looking forward to your 1YO birthday party.

Another point of View

Havent been updating my blog for sometime. Being busy with moving office to Bukit Merah centre. I must say its very far from where I stay, but I dun intend to change job yet. Hoping to clear my ACCA first b4 moving on. ( I jus got increment this mth..hehehe!! good news at this bad time now.. )

I m always complainin abt my hubby not helping me to look after Shawn. But these few days, I somehow notice I m wrong. Maybe is true tat he doesn look after him directly, as in feed him, bath him or coax him to slp. But he definitely helps a lot indirectly. Hubby will help to clear all the barang barang after I bath shawn. He will help to bring a cup of water to the room for me at nite. He will always carry shawn stroller, bags etc whenever we go out shopping. He will clean up shawn toys, fix up shawn stuffs etc.. Drove me ard to buy shawn stuffs. Etc etc…  Isnt these all ‘helps’..

I guess I m too much at time. Whenever shawn got cranky, I will get frustrated as well. N throw temper. Poor hubby will need to suffer again. He really put up a lot to me.

To hubby: I m sorry if I reali hurt in any way. I loves you more then ever. Pls dun ever doubt it k. I will learn to control my temper. I promise u J

Genting trip on 18 Oct 2008

Our first time to drive in to genting. Accompany by Hanyi, Winnie & bb Ashton. We all reply on our GPS to our destination n end up we all got LoSt at KL. Two GPS with two different guides to same place.

Our trip:

5am – meet up at Fernvale Pri sch (Bus Stop) Hanyi told hubby the procedures at the custom n how to use the walker talkies..

5.40am – reach custom. A bit jam only. Winnie bring me to get some whitecard.

6.30am – Reach a petrol station at JB liao. Pump petrol. Visit toilet. Took some pic.

7.15am -  On the PLUS highway liao.. n travel at 140-180km/hr (180km max hubby went.. tats the faster he even drove..hehehe)

11am- Reach KL. Goin round n round.. We were Lost

12.30pm – Reach Resort hotel. Check in and change

1pm – Lunch at the market place. We had Ayam Nasi. Then Winnie n I went shopping while Hubby n Hanyi went casino.

2pm – Hubby was on slipper n short.. cant get into casino.. so he come search for us n manage to find us. Bought two per of sock for shawn.

3.30pm – Relax at Starbucks. Chat Chat. Let Shawn drink milk.

4pm – Walk ard.. waiting for 5pm to meet Hanyi. But he end his game early n come to meet use at 4.15pm. Tabao MarryBrown back to Hotel.

5pm – We went back to hotel. Rest n relax. Bath Shawn in the Basin.. hehe.. was so cute.. will upload tat pic soon.

7pm – Hubby went casino with Hanyi while I stay in room with shawn.. Play with him.

8.15pm – Shawn slp le.. Zzzzzz!!!

10.15pm – Hubby is back. Won 60++ringgit.. haha!! He was so happy telling me abt his casino trip.

Day 2

7am – Shawn woke up le.. So we wake hubby up oso.. Play with him on the bed…Wash shawn butt at the basin again..hehe.. then change him.. Took our bath n change..

8.30am – Pack up our stuff n bring to the car first..

9.15am – Meet HWA family for breakfast at the hotel café. International buffet breakfast at 15rm each.

10.30am – Took some pic at the lobi.. then went back to hotel room.

11am – we went to check out first. Saw 4 Ferrari n one Lamborghini at the lobi entrance. Bring shawn out to see. Took some pic oso.

11.30am – In our car.. ready to drive back le..

3.45pm – Q up at the custom. Jam Jam Jam.. Decided not to join HWA to shop at JB. Cos need to rush back to celebrate MIL bday.

4.30pm – out of Custom liao.. Went to tabao Thomson Kampong chicken rice back. N bought a cake from pine garden.

6pm – Home sweet home..

Weather was bad early in the morning.. put on rain coat n off to work..

CTE was as jam as b4.. then theres this donkey infront of me.. sld say two bike infront.. block our way.. he was riding VERY slowly.. n yet dun let ppl over take him.. then suddenly.. when he reach rite beside a MPV n taxi.. then he jam brake.. tot he cant go thro.. donkey stop suddenly.. so the bike behind oso E brake.. follow by me brakeeeee... then another donkey behind me 'kiss' my butt le.. N guess wat... I DIDNT stop to check.. i jus carry on my ride... i tot nothin ba.. since i see tat guy behind is fine.. he must b relieve to see tat i didn stop to take down his particular..

But i do note down his plate no. FBC8848D... (haha..brand new bike wo.. while my is FBA liao.. he must b very heart pain ah.. whahaha)

Put him on the high chair n give him porridge with vege last sun. He only take few spoon n start making noise liao... Mil keep tellin shawn ' 你要学啊'.. keep tellin me..we cant rush.. slowly.. hahaha. but she is the one feeding.. while i video taking le.. kekeke.. she scare i worry ba..

Shawn’s first hair cut

On sat 13 Sept 2008, intend to bring Shawn to his second swim early in the morning. but before we woke up, it started raining at 7.30am. Hubby wake up to close the window and Shawn woke up by the noise.  Latch Shawn on for him ‘breakfast’. Then mil bath Shawn n make him to sleep again while hubby n I went AMK for breakfast and do some banking stuffs.

Went back home n getting ready stuff to bring Shawn out. Went to fetch my mother then went to Chong Pang to had Shawn hair cut together with Hubby. Shawn was so guai. No cry at all. He jus sit quietly on my lap. Next to his daddy, while the hairdresser jus slowly shave his side n back.

Went back home to drop my mum. Then we went to Yishun swimming pool for Shawn to swim. He cries again when he enters the water. Guess the water must b too cold for him. But after a while he got use to it n he started to enjoy it. Sucking his thumb n lying back on his float while his daddy push him ard the pool.

As usual, I jus stand by the pool with him robe n towel. Prepare to catch him when he finishes his swim. Wrap him up n went back home to bath him.

My mum bought Shawn a walker to keep him busy at her place. He loves the walker. N all the new toys my mum n brother bought for him. Especially the teethe fish.

We forgot to get Shawn a lantern. So tot maybe we can go get it on Sunday b4 bring him out for a walk. Again, it starts raining when hubby got back from work. No where to go le. Enjoy my Sunday playing with Shawn at home.
